Euro‑Sportring organises international sports tournaments for youth and senior teams across 12 European countries. With more than 8,000 teams participating annually, they needed a reliable mobile platform to help players, coaches, and families stay informed during events. Aecor built a native tournament app that provides real-time access to fixtures, results, locations, and standings, all from a single source.

The challenge

Each Euro‑Sportring tournament brings together hundreds of teams across multiple venues, countries, and age groups. Historically, match schedules and updates were shared through emails or printed materials, which often caused confusion and delays. Participants, especially parents and supporters, had no easy way to track teams or receive updates on the go.

To improve the experience and reduce pressure on event staff, Euro‑Sportring needed a dedicated mobile solution that worked reliably, scaled across tournaments, and was easy to use for a wide age range.

Our solution

Aecor developed a native mobile app that gives participants a central place to access real-time tournament data. The app is updated before each tournament with fixtures, pitch locations, and team standings, all synced with Euro‑Sportring’s backend platform.

Users can follow their team, view group and knockout stages, browse by age category or venue, and access maps and local info. Data is cached to allow offline access during the event weekend.

The backend was built with Laravel, using APIs to serve tournament data to both the app and a lightweight Vue.js admin interface used by tournament coordinators to manage schedules and updates.

Users can check scores from the pitch or stands, plan their day with accurate schedules, and track tournament progress with ease. Event organisers now spend less time fielding questions and more time running the tournament.
